An exciting partnership sees Sapphire take cybersecurity to a new level

Due to the rapid growth of Sapphire Utility Solutions, we quickly recognised we were becoming a more lucrative target for cybercriminals due to our industry and size. As a Tier 1 Utility Maintenance provider, we are key to ensuring utilities are provided throughout the UK. 

We have extensive security experience within our team, but we firmly believe you cannot mark your own homework. Having an external business to take care of our security ensures that anything that may have been missed is picked up.

Cybercriminals do not follow a 9 – 5 working day, and we need to ensure Sapphire Utility Solutions is monitored and protected 24/7. Therefore, we have recently partnered with Sapphire a provider of Cyber Security services, to manage our security operations.

Sapphire’s Security Operations Centre’s (SOC) essential function is to monitor, prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats. The SOC also combines people, processes, and technology to strengthen security posture. They provide Managed Security Services using the following best practices:
