We pleased to announce that SUS are now part of the WIAPS scheme.

WIAPS (Water Industry Approved Plumbers’ Scheme) is the largest of the seven UK Approved Contractors’ Schemes. WIAPS is administered by WRAS on behalf of 15 of the UK Water Undertakers.   It provides water industry-backed accreditation to qualified companies such as ourselves who undertake groundwork.

How this Benefits our clients:

• You get reassurance that SUS employs qualified ground workers who understand the Water Fittings Regulations and Byelaws.
• SUS has the backing of water companies who refer customers to WIAPS and Water Safe to find an approved plumber or ground worker installer.
• Approved Contractors can start certain works without issuing prior notification to the local water company – meaning we can save you time and money.

Every installation we undertake under the scheme must comply with the Water Fittings Regulations. In addition, as an approved contractor, we can issue a certificate stating our work complies with the Regulations.

To ensure high standards are maintained SUS will be periodically audited by the local water company.

This accreditation is part of several new ones we are currently in the process of undertaking to allow us to continuously improve our offering and services to all of our customers – we look forward to sharing more exciting developments with you soon so please watch this space!
