Sapphire Utility Solutions are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work closely with the Quantity Surveyors and Operations Teams at their offices in Pride Park. You will be working in a team role on the Severn Trent Clean Water Contract.

Due to the ongoing success and expansion of the Severn Trent Water contract we require a new assistant QS to oversee the successful delivery of our contract

Day to day roles and responsibilities:

Subcontract accruals

Processing and administration of subcontract payments

Cash allocation and cash forecasting

Preparation and submission of Applications for Payment to main client.

Qualifications Required: Preferably educated to A Level / degree standard in a construction related discipline

We are looking for a confident team player who can work in a fast-paced office environment and meet the demands of the role. You must have previous construction / utilities experience including valuation of works, knowledge of excel, contract administration including management and processing of subcontract payments.

The role is full time Monday – Friday 42.5 hours a working week
